Meet our second album ‘Like a Supernova’!
More than a year passed since the idea of this CD was born, and for this period both our music and we ourselves have changed dramatically. ‘Like a Supernova’ album became the result of several years labor, our dear child. It’s time to give a life to it, and we do it with pride and excitement.

Funky Bizness Gang’s second album named ‘LIKE A SUPERNOVA’ will be released on February 28.
According to good tradition, we will present it with a live performance in EverJazz club. Visitors will also be able to purchase a deluxe CD edition of the album there.
The venue’s address is Turgeneva st., 22 in Yekaterinburg. The sound begins at 10PM, enter is 400 to 600 rubles. We’ll be glad to meet you in the club, see you soon!
Our last report about making of the ‘Like a Supernova’ album is dedicated to recording the real string ‘Stout Quartet’ and also to the most unmusical but at the same time the most joyful studio process – the recording of claps and snaps. For this part were invited not only the band members but also FBG’s faithful fangirls. So you think that standing clapping in front of a microphone is something boring? Fuff!
There is less and less time left to the moment when we launch the album ‘Like a Supernova’. The process of mixing is already begun and we now share with you some final video cuts from our recording kitchen. The main character of the eighth studio report is our sax player Stanislav Shushkevich. He’d recorded solo parts for several tracks, using not only alto and flute but also soprano saxophone which is rare enough for funky music.
Our seventh studio report is dedicated to probably the most important phase – a recording of the vocal parts. Fortunately, this process was quite painless and sometimes even funny enough. It’s important that, besides our main vocalist Pavel Vorontsov, for this time we invited two wonderful female singers – Elizabeth Rybalko and Julia Dyachkovskaya. Needless to say that all of them did their work the best way!
Now there are just a few sounds left to be recorded. Stay tuned for more!
